Traditional Irish Music Workshop – And Now For Something Completely Different: Slow Tunes with Harmonies

All levels welcome. Traditionally Irish music was monophonic (only the tune, no harmonies or accompaniment). With the influence of World Music, accompaniment is now common and some contemporary Irish musicians are adding harmonies to slow tunes and songs. Learn a slow tune and then learn how to add simple harmonies if you wish. Sheets will be provided.
