Crescent Fort Rouge United Church

Staff barb janes is our minister of Worship, Education and Outreach. Ordained in 1984, barb's ministry has given her rich experiences in the aboriginal setting, in the inner cities of Vancouver and Toronto, and with congregations in northern Ontario, Saskatoon, Selkirk (Manitoba) and here at Crescent Fort Rouge. An adult-onset runner, barb is also an avid reader of fiction, a movie-goer, Winnipeg Folk Festival fan, and theatre buff.
	Irene Greenwood’s focus in ministry at Crescent Fort Rouge is mainly in the areas of pastoral care and stewardship. She was ordained in 1981 and has served pastoral charges in Alberta, Saskatchewan and rural Manitoba before coming to CFRUC in 2007. Puttering in the garden, walking, swimming, and working out at the gym have become a part of Irene’s spiritual journey.
Sharon Silcox is our skilful administrator. E-mail her about booking a wedding, renting a meeting space, or reserving a ticket for an upcoming church event. Sharon has a huge fabric collection which feeds her sewing mania. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 1:00.
Don Askholm retired from Winnipeg School Division after 34 years as a Choral teacher and is our organist/pianist/choir director. Don brings terrific musicality, great energy and a warm welcome to any who want to join our choir. The repertoire is wide, reflecting our worship style.
